In His Own Words
Let’s take a moment to analyze this.
Donald Trump’s “real group” are the incredibly wealthy and influential people who can afford to be members of his golf club. The people who know he is an unsavory character (or, in his words, a “monster”), and yet have backed him from the beginning.
These are not the masses of ordinary people (many of them poor) who are struggling on a daily basis to thrive in America.
Oh, how I wish I could remove the spell and veil of illusion that D. Trump has placed on the many impoverished and down-and-out people who support him.
There are no easy answers and no easy solutions to the complex problems and challenges that are inherent in a democracy, and if a leader is claiming they can magically “fix” everything with a wave of their hands, buyer beware.
He may seem like a wizard to them right now, but it’s inevitable that Toto will eventually pull the curtain. And when Toto does, Trump’s average American supporters are going to be the ones who pay the price. (Along with the rest of us average American non-Trump supporters.)

Therein Lies the Rub
I know it’s simply not possible to make sense of all that is going on right now. It just isn’t. But I can’t unplug. I feel an urgent need to at least try and gather as much information as I can and exercise the one thing I do have control over – my discernment.
If you haven’t already been directed to these articles on your Facebook feed, I encourage you to check them out. They are definitely worth a read.
