A Note from the Creator:
After the election, while drawing pictures with my six-year-old niece, I started to create “doodles” that explored the ramifications of Trump’s win. In December 2016, I decided to post these doodles online, in hopes that they might cheer up friends, family, and colleagues who were struggling with the election results.
I didn’t have any plan to continue, but I’ve found that doodling–using markers, paper, humor, simplicity, vulnerability, and heart, has both kept me sane in the Trump Era, and is an effective tool to educate, promote activism, and inspire others to speak out.
I hope that by providing an accessible, friendly, and creative outlet for people to express themselves and commune with others during this time of crisis, we can join forces to maintain the endurance and resilience that will be needed to defend justice, equality, inclusivity, and humanity going forward.
